Meet the
Fiber Artist
Hello!!
My name is Aurora; I’m a full-time college student who spends her free time crocheting or looking at Pinterest for inspiration on what to crochet next. I picked up the hobby during covid, as most people did, and became obsessed with the idea of making my own clothing. However, I feel like I could never find tutorials for my style, something more timeless, versatile, and whimsical. So, I designed my own!
I love to crochet because it’s the best way for me to feel more present when I’m listening to music, watching a movie or show, or in a class lecture. I want to be able to share my art so that others can feel more present in what they’re consuming is made with love.

Ethos
The practices or values that distinguish a person or organization
Crochet is very beautiful in that a machine cannot replicate it, but that results in the exploitation of people to make crochet items at a fraction of the price they deserve. If you’ve bought a “crochet item” in a big business, it was faux crochet knit (A knitting machine fabric made to mimic crochet) or the result of exploitation. It is not the fault of the buyer, who is unaware of the inherit handmade nature of crochet. Rather the system in place that makes people feel like they need to keep up with trends and devalue quality for quantity. This is why my business ethos is to prioritize our quality of each piece. You don’t deserve to wear something that wasn’t made with care, you deserve something made with love so that you can wear it with confidence :)
